SF-Garden is a non-profit association that promotes sustainable gardening in the San Francisco Bay Area. The organization educates the public about native plants and organic gardening methods. We promote life and escape from the industrialized, technocratic world we live in.

More specifically, SF-Garden works to connect the world of restoration specialists, ecologists and master gardeners with the typical interested Bay area resident. We are translators who help people who want vibrant, easy to maintain, wildlife-supporting yards create this reality.

We also help people develop and manage non-native gardens without using harmful chemicals and synthetic fertilizers. Many retail-type gardening products are unecessary. Applying poisons to sustain foreign plants isn't going to help people or the environment. And there's really no need.

So that's what we do.
